Look Good and Feel Good

The Science of Looking Good and Feeling Good

Today, I want to share with you why I went into the fitness industry, and how I got to this place.

I WAS Depressed

I started back at the bottom with Just Fitness, eventually becoming vice president. Even though I reached a high position as Vice President, I was not happy with myself. Something felt empty.

I Reflected and Re-Restarted

I quit Just Fitness, with a dream of owning my own gym. This time with the experience of my previous failure.

I WAS SINGLE-MINDED

I learned what I needed in order to open up my dream gym. How to be successful. How to become my own boss.

I finally accomplished my dream

I opened up my transformation center, Peak Zone Fitness, which eventually became one of the most critically acclaimed gym in Dallas.

But my journey doesn't end here.

I WAS A CHANGED MAN

Peak Zone Fitness, totally revolutionized my entire life. But my journey isn't over. This is why I created Beat the Dad Bod. I want to not only reach out to men in my immediate area, but also around all of America.

I WANT YOU TO VISUALIZE…

Imagine your best-self. Your best body, family-relationship, outfit, lifestyle and expand upon it more.

Now imagine that you’re looking in a mirror. You think, “Wow! Is that really me?” You look look and feel fantastic, don’t you? You bet you do. You can be that man.

I’M NOT TALKING ABOUT BEING VAIN

Beating the Dad Bod means respecting yourself.

It means taking care of yourself, and it means doing the things you need to do to be healthy.

This is not vanity, and it’s not narcissism. You don’t need to worry about how you look in front of everybody. It’s about doing what you need to in order to be your best.

I CAN’T SAY THIS STRONGLY ENOUGH

You only get one body. Ever. It’s what you’ve got for the rest of your life. If your body breaks, no amount of money can replace it.

That’s where looking good really starts. When you respect yourself and take care of yourself, you look good. Naturally. Easily.

I LIKE HOW IT FEELS

Looking good makes you feel good. It’s like looking into that imaginary mirror, and realizing how great you look, and experiencing the great feelings that come from liking what you see.

Looking and feeling good generates confidence and self-esteem. It helps you to think better and “do life” better and “play life” better.

“Play relationships” better, “play work” better, and “play” all the areas of your life better.

It literally translates into getting “paid” better. Whether the payment is in the form of money, or fulfillment, or satisfaction, you will feel so much better about your life.

I LOVE TO WATCH THE DOMINO’S FALL

I have the same goal for all of my clients. My singular objective is to help them not just look but feel their best. Why?

Because that’s the first domino, the one I need to knock over to see the effect race through their entire life. It’s the one that’s going to help them feel good about life.

That’s what I try to do in my business, for each and every client. To sit down, study, research meticulously and plan what is going to help them look their best… because I know what an impact that will have.

I WOULD LOVE TO HELP

If you are reading this and know that you need to be taking better care of yourself but don’t know where to start. Here’s what I want you to do, fill out a program application and book yourself in for a complementary call.

Because now you know my singular objective is to help you look and feel your best. Not out of vanity or ego, but to improve all the areas of your life.

Donny Day saw a gap in the fitness industry that has never been offered before. With fifteen collective company awards to his name, mentorship of over 100 fitness managers, 1000 personal trainers, and over 40,000 clients, Donny Day had a vision.

Donny Day is one of the fortunate people who knows what he wants early in life.

“I was young enough to want it so bad. And after spending countless hours training with other trainers, following them around, taking notes from everybody, begging for information, and doing all my certifications, before I knew it, I became the number one trainer for Bally Total Fitness in the State of Texas. And I was just 18 years old when that happened.”

By the time he reached 20 years old, he had an opportunity to move to Los Angeles and work at LA Fitness. Striving to be the best fitness trainer he could be, Donny used the experience to excel, working 12 hours a day, and promoting to Manager.

Eventually, Donny moved back to Texas to train private clients and obtain new certifications to improve his fitness knowledge. Shortly after, he became a Manager for Just Fitness’ Personal Training Department where he broke multiple sales records, and was promoted to Vice President for their 20 million dollar project with 20 clubs. During his time as Vice President Donny Day visited and studied the nation’s top fitness trends in order to build various personal training and group personal training programs within the Just Fitness business.

Using insight from his previous work, letting experiences mold him, and learning from his obstacles, Donny Day then created Beat The Dad Bod USA & Peak Zone Fitness, a fitness startup featured in over 200 different media outlets and loved by its customers with over 600 perfect reviews.
